Our Commitments

As part of its commitment to a sustainable development policy, since 2011 the Évian Resort has chosen to work wih the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) by signing an agreement to become an LPO sanctuary, with regards to the grounds and gardens of the Royal, Ermitage hotels, Grange au Lac and La Verniaz hotels (from the end of 2025). We undertake to welcome, protect and promote biodiversity on our sites, prohibit hunting and fishing, and provide conditions that promote the health of the soil and wild animals and plants. 

Use of eco-friendly Ecocert certified products (made in France with over 95% natural ingredients).

To maintain our grounds, we use organic-certified products that ensure environmentally-friendly practices.

supporting local and French producers, and use of French meats.

Fish supply from sustainable fishing methods and respecting spawning periods.

Training programmes on sustainable development, management, leadership and safety.

Safety policy, accident prevention and staff benefits (accommodation, catering, priority access to services)

Partnerships with local associations involving donations of food and furniture, and charitable activities (Les Restos du Cœurs, Les enfants du Léman, Don du sang, Glisse en cœur, Responsiable Reservations with Guestonline,…) 

collection and recycling of soap in the hotels for humanitarian purposes in collaboration with the UNISOAP association. 

shuttle service that uses electric vehicles, e-bikes, and charging stations for electric vehicles.
